NPP performance tracker is a fallacy and deceptive to Ghanaians. This was revealed by Ballasy Emmanuel who is the Constituency Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The government has launched a performance tracker that provides details of all government projects, their progress and their locations since it came into power.
The launch took place at GIMPA campus on April 10, 2024.
The Minister of Works and Housing Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who presented the tracker stated that “the tracker is a data base to showcase projects by the government.
During his presentation, the Minister said, “most of the time what people says is that what does government use my taxpayers’ money for? Well, this App will help you find whatever projects the government is using your money for”.
“This government is the digitalization government and the general public can personally check with their phones, the status of the projects and even make a physical inspection if they wish to do so,” he said.
He added that this would also help put a stop to the circulation of fake images as governments projects.
The Nkoranza North Constituency Secretary for National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bono East Region, Ballasy Emmanuel has accused Vice President Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), of using valiant in exaggerating to the recently launched performance tracker as a tool of deceptive and concoct of reality to gibe Ghanaians.
Ballasy in a statement on Fabea FM "Me Man Ho Dadwen", with Apiah-Kubi, in exclusive interview expatiate in an axiom pointed out that the “so-called” performance tracker had been exposed for its deceitfulness.
He cited that, in the performance tracker, it is accounted that, Busunya to Nyinaheni road and Tanoboasi - Kranka - Yefiri road in the Nkoranza North have been completed in upgrading. According to the party's secretary, the information is false and fallacy.
He noted that the revelations of lies by the NPP led Akuffo-Addo government's performance tracker is a clear indication that the government was trying to write and present a fabricated reality to the people of Ghana, essentially, in the Nkoranza North constituency.
He reiterated, "The NPP's performance tracker contains inaccurate information, for instance, the completion of Busunya - Nyinaheni road and Tanoboasi - Kranka - Yefiri roads' 100 per cent completed is deceptive, and a visit to the roads recently showed that the information was fallacy".
"I believe this App will help Ghanaians more to find whatever projects the government is using our tax pecuniary for and will expose their incompetency", the secretary bemoaned.
