Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, was reportedly taken from his residence in Abuja by his successor, Governor Usman Ododo, as confirmed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The incident occurred following a prolonged presence of EFCC operatives at Bello's residence in Wuse Zone 4 on Wednesday. The anti-corruption agency had positioned themselves there with the intention of apprehending and bringing Bello to court on corruption charges the next day.
