?The Holy Bible is quite emphatic about God's willingness to prosper his people. In Third John 1:2, the Bible reads "beloved I wish above all that things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospereth".God wants all his chosen people to be financially sound and live above poverty. Prosperity and financial abundance are God's desire for his sons and daughters.
This financial blessing is however linked to some scriptural principles. The Bible teaches some key divine principles to financial blessings and prosperity. The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and he adds no sorrows. God's word is only yes and amen. Let's see the key divine principles to financial blessings from the holy scriptures.
(1) TITHES AND OFFERINGS.
The first most important principle underlying biblical financial prosperity is the payment of tithes and offerings. Tithe is the biblical principle of giving back one-tenth of whatever earnings a person receives whether daily, weekly, monthly or annually. When a child of God faithfully pays his tithes to the church, it brings immeasurable financial blessings into his or her life. In Malachi chapter 3, the Bible admonishes God's children to "bring all the tithes and offerings into the storeroom and see if he (God) will not open the windows of heaven and shower abundant blessings upon them".
(2) ?SEED SOWING.
In Galatians 6:7, the Bible says " a man reaps what he sows". Luke 6:38 put it more clearer that,God will measure, shake, press and double what we bring to him as seed offering and "put it in our bossom". Whatever we give to God as seed offering will come back to us in multiple proportion.
(3) Obedience to God's word.
God told Joshua to carefully observe all the laws and do them and he shall prosper in all his ways(Joshua 1:6). When we obey God's divine laws, he blessed us with divine blessings.
