NDC Members In Nkoranza North Invoke Curses On NPP For Allegedly Bussing Voters
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in the Nkoranza North constituency have accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of transporting voters from Agona in the Ashanti Region and Kintampo South in the Bono East Region to transfer their votes in the Nkoranza North constituency.
In response, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who got angry over the issue and invoked curses on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members for allegedly busing people to transfer their votes. At first it was an issue of busing people during the limited voter registration exercise and now again during the transfer of votes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) continue to bus people and are urging non residents to participate in the ongoing voter transfer exercise but the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not just sit down and watch all this things happen.
According to Ballasi Emmanuel, the constituency secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza North, the party members used eggs and schnapps to invoke their gods, Tuo-Nkramo, Antuanyamaa and Gyambi to deal with anyone intending to transport voters to the constituency. We will continue to let the New Patriotic Party (NPP) know that it is very wrong for them to bus non residents and if they don't stop nothing can stop this curses from taking effect.
Atta Kwame, the deputy youth organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza North led the invocation of the dreaded deity against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and whoever is attempting to bus voters will not be left out of this curses. Whoever is behind this busing of non residents should quickly come out and stop hiding or pretending they are not aware of what is going on in Nkoranza North.
Ballasi warned the Nkoranza North New Patriotic Party (NPP) leaders to cease busing non-residents to transfer their votes in the constituency or face their wrath. The members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nkoranza North want the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to know that they are not playing or joking about this issue and will continue to mount pressure on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to call or stop those who are behind to this kind of act to order.
He expressed confidence that the curses of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would be effective and help avoid rigging in the upcoming elections.
