JORDAN AYEW'S HAT-TRICK GIVES GHANA A DECISIVE VICTORY IN AN EXCITING WORLD CUP QUALIFIER.

Against the Central African Republic (CAR), Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars, demonstrated tenacity and resolve in an exciting 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Fans were glued to their seats throughout the thrilling seven-goal contest, which took place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.




After Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was tackled within the area, Ghana was given an early penalty kick to start the game. Ghana took the lead right away as Jordan Ayew stepped up and converted the penalty with assurance. But CAR came back quickly, as Louis Mafouta scored a skillful constructed goal in the eleventh minute with help from team captain Geoffrey Kondogbia.

With a further masterful goal as the first half went On the other hand, Mafouta broke through Ghana's defense to give CAR the lead. The Black Stars, though, were unflinching. Their star, Ayew, leveled the score in the 60th minute with a spectacular header off a brilliantly placed cross from Gideon Mensah.




The Black Stars took the lead in the 65th minute when Abdul Fatawu's shot deflected off a defender and found the net. But the drama didn't end there, as Ayew capitalised on chaos in the goalmouth to secure his hat-trick in the 69th minute, taking his goal tally to seven in his last eight appearances for the national team. CAR's Late Surge Despite Ghana's dominance, CAR fought back, and Mafouta completed his own hat-trick in the final minutes of play. The Wild Beasts rallied, but it wasn't enough, as Ghana won 4-3.

Ghana now leads Group I with nine points after four games, thanks to this significant win. With one game remaining, Comoros and Madagascar are right behind with six points apiece. The group standings are: completed by Mali, CAR, and Chad.



Ghana's comeback king, Jordan Ayew, will be remembered for his valiant actions.

Driven by skill and determination, the Black Stars will continue their road to the 2026 World Cup. Fans are happy because they know that Ayew's hat-trick has moved them one step closer to the biggest stage in football.
