Hanna Akosua Frimpomaa, a 21-year-old Teacher Trainee murdered by unknown Persons at Abrafi Estate a suburb of Techiman North District in the Bono East Region.
The body of the deceased of Atebubu College of Education was found in an uncompleted building in the said community.
Mr. Kwasi Fosu, Uncle of the deceased revealed to the Media on Monday that his niece came for vacation at Offuman also in the Techiman North District but left back to school after the Colleges of Education resumed.
"But when Her Parents called to find out whether she had reached her destination (Campus), her phone was switched off only for the family to find out on Friday after days of searching that their beloved daughter had been murdered at Abrafi Estate".
The Police have begun investigations into the matter but are yet to make any arrests
Earlier today, at the Townhall Meeting held at the Trinity Baptist Church, Oasis House, Croydon, London, the *Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam* made some major pronouncements in the form of the following:
1. Ghana has officially concluded and reached an agreement with its bilateral creditors, which will see Ghana benefiting from a *$2.5 billion debt forgiveness
2. Ghana has also concluded and reached an agreement with its bondholders with an *$8 billion dollars debt forgiveness
3. Ghana will also meet all conditionalities set down by the IMF for the next review scheduled for June 28, 2024, to receive an additional *$600 million dollar capital injection into the economy
4. That, he the Finance Minister has been tasked by president to set up *Special Fund for the $10.5 billion dollars to be given to Ghana from the debt forgiveness* for specialised and targeted projects.
5. Finally, he emphatically stated that all the debt restructuring undertaken by the government will officially come to an end within a few days.
In conclusion, the Minister stated that a major announcement is expected tomorrow and entreat all to take our time and read the detailed agreement reached with its official creditors once the announcement is made and be excited about the prospect of the next face of Ghana economic recovery
