MAHAMA WILL SCRAP FREE SHS IF HE WINS, VOTE FOR BAWUMIA – OMANE ACHEAMPONG TO GHANAIANS

Nicholas Omane Acheampong, a gospel performer, has urged Ghanaians to cast their ballots for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 elections. He stated that sticking with the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy would be easier if people voted for the leader of the New Patriotic Party. Omane Acheampong asserts that the election of John Mahama of the NDC would result in his abandonment of the Free SHS program. He brought up the fact that, under Mahama's rule, it was difficult for orphans and other youngsters to attend SHS.

But the gospel singer lauded President Akufo-Addo for the policy's implementation, saying it has allowed many students to finish secondary school even if they otherwise couldn't afford it. Even if they finished junior high, orphaned children couldn't go on to high school under Mahama. Some received individual assistance, while others faced abandonment. Thanks to Akufo-Free SHS Addo, nearly all orphaned children are able to finish secondary school. Many of these students go on to pursue degrees in nursing or other related fields. If we remain silent and Mahama wins the election, he will prioritize eliminating Free SHS. Nicholas Omane Acheampong made the statement on Agyapa TV, saying that in order to safeguard these orphans' access to Free SHS, we should vote for Bawumia out of compassion.

Below, you may watch his statement.

Agya Koo showcases progress of Creative Arts SHS project being built by NPP government

Saturday, 4:23 p.m. Actor Yaw Adu, better known by his stage name Agya Koo, has provided updates on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government's Creative Arts Senior High School (SHS) project. He revealed that the project has achieved an 85% completion rate and requires only a few final touches to become publicly available. Despite criticism from certain celebrities, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has shown her dedication to promoting the creative arts industry through this initiative, according to Agya Koo. He pleaded with moviegoers and industry insiders to support the NPP and cast their ballots in large numbers so that similar projects could continue. I am currently inspecting the Creative Arts Senior High School in Kwadaso, an important project that President Akufo-Addo started and is nearly 85 percent finished. The president has fulfilled his pledges to the entertainment industry, and I am here to report on our progress. We hope the current administration doesn't finish the project, but if the NPP remains in power, the next one will. In a video uploaded by EDHUB on X, the actor mentioned that the construction of the classroom block and teachers' apartments is still proceeding. These comments are in reaction to those of famous people like Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, who has criticized the government for allegedly ignoring the arts and has asked the public to back National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 elections. Agya Koo, a well-known NPP supporter, has been an integral part of the party's presidential and legislative campaigns.
