Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, a prominent religious leader in Ghana and founder of the Believers Bible Church, has sparked significant debate with his recent statements. Known for his charismatic preaching and focus on faith, healing, and prosperity, Kyei-Duah has built a large following. His latest proclamations, however, have stirred controversy and discussion among Ghanaians.

Not long ago, Adom Kyei-Duah made a bold and controversial announcement during a sermon. He claimed to have received a divine message instructing him to replace the traditional image of Jesus Christ with his own for the next 500 years.

He stated, "Have you seen the Jesus' picture that you came to meet in this world? God has sent me to replace it with my picture for the next 500 years." This declaration has left many wondering if he sees himself as the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The announcement led to mixed reactions. While some of his followers applauded and celebrated his words during the sermon, the broader public is divided. On social media, opinions splited between those who admire his boldness and view him as a prophet and those who criticize him for what they see as blasphemy and a bid for attention.

To add to the controversy, Adom Kyei-Duah announced plans to create a movie in which he will play the role of Jesus. He claimed that the traditional images of Jesus are not accurate, suggesting that anyone could replace those images.

He emphasized that he believes he is divinely sent to take on this role. Adom Kyei-Duah encouraged his congregation to participate in the film, asking them to choose the roles they would play.

This latest revelation has only intensified the debate surrounding Adom Kyei-Duah's intentions and identity. Supporters argue that he is making a symbolic statement about his importance in their spiritual lives, while skeptics question his motives and the authenticity of his claims.

The reactions on social media have been diverse. Some Ghanaians express support and admiration for Kyei-Duah, seeing him as a significant spiritual leader who is unafraid to make bold statements. Others, however, are critical, accusing him of blasphemy and questioning his motivations.
