Man Utd transfer news: Juventus open Jadon Sancho agreements after PSG discard Manuel Ugarte proposal
Manchester United is focusing on outgoings for the remaining six days of the summer transfer window, though the Red Devils remain interested in signing PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
There is currently less than a week left in the summer transfer window, and Manchester United is absolutely focused on signing Manuel Ugarte. Ugarte is free to leave PSG this summer, but the French club will not budge on their £51 million valuation. United are eager to conclude a deal for the midfielder, but they are also working on outgoings.
Jadon Sancho is at the top of the list of players leaving, and it does not appear if Erik ten Hag has any intentions for him. Juventus is the latest team to make a move for the attacker, with PSG also considering signing the former England international.
Gary Neville approved the recruitment of de Ligt, who joined Old Trafford earlier this summer. Juventus have begun talks to sign Sancho, with Manchester United eager to transfer him on. Sancho was left out of the Premier League squad for the season's first game and has been linked with a move to PSG. According to The Athletic, Juventus has now claimed the lead in the hunt to sign the winger. The Serie A giants are in talks about a trade, but reaching an agreement appears to be difficult, with United demanding a cost of £40 million.
They are also unlikely to approve another loan move, which is exactly what Juve wants. The Turin club has made him a priority target, and there is speculation that United will agree to a loan move if Juve agrees to fully cover Sancho's salary, plus a loan fee and an obligation to sign him permanently at the completion of the loan.
