Jadon Sancho transfer 'agreed' as Premier League side move for £25m Man Utd star

Jadon Sancho's potential exit from Manchester United has taken a significant step forward, with reports indicating that he has agreed to a loan move to Juventus. This development appears to put an end to the possibility of Raheem Sterling joining Manchester United, as a swap deal between the two clubs had been previously discussed.

Despite resolving some of his issues with United manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho's future at Old Trafford seems uncertain, as he has been left out of both of United's Premier League squads this season. With his position at the club in doubt, Juventus and Chelsea emerged as potential destinations for the English winger. While Chelsea's interest in Sancho involved a potential swap deal with Sterling, it now seems that Sancho has opted to leave the Premier League altogether.

According to reports from *L'Equipe*, Sancho has initiated talks with Juventus, and both clubs have reportedly agreed on most of the terms of the loan deal, which includes an option for Juventus to buy him at a later stage. Despite Juventus' persistent efforts to secure his services, Sancho is still open to a move to Chelsea, though little progress has been made on a potential deal involving Sterling.

Chelsea, who are also pursuing Napoli's Victor Osimhen, have explored the possibility of bringing Sancho to Stamford Bridge. However, United has shown little interest in a swap involving Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell, which was another potential component of a deal.

The situation remains fluid, with Juventus still in the mix for Sancho's signature. Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has not ruled out signing Sancho but emphasized that any new acquisition must bring tangible benefits to the team. Maresca, who knows Sancho from their time at Manchester City, expressed his interest in the player but acknowledged that Sancho is not currently Chelsea's player, leaving the door open for further developments.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is focused on their Europa Conference League campaign, having secured a 2-0 win against Servette in the first leg of their playoff. Maresca has cautioned his players against complacency and expressed concerns about the pitch conditions at the Stade de Genève ahead of the second leg. As Chelsea continues their European journey, the club's transfer dealings, including the pursuit of Sancho, will likely remain a point of interest.
