Carlo Ancelotti has warned Kylian Mbappe and Endrick about the standards required of them every time they play for Real Madrid.
Mbappé finally arrived in the Spanish capital this summer on a blockbuster free transfer, while Endrick's wait to join Madrid ended after he turned 18 in July.
Both men have tasted their first silverware as Real players with Super Cup success against Atalanta, but dropping points in two of the club's first four La Liga games is a stark reminder that continued success will not be a walk in the park.
Real Betis were beaten 2-0 in their final game before the international break – Mappe opened the scoring in La Liga with a brace – and Madrid will be focused on catching up with rivals Barcelona, ??who have won four of their four games under new boss Hansi Flick, when the club resumes football.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti, who in recent days approved the surprise appointment of Andy Mangan as assistant coach at Stockport County, has spoken of the demands on every Real Madrid player – including Mbappé and Endrick, who he said “adapted very well” to their new surroundings.

“They have the greatest players.
You have to be able to put their quality at the service of the club.
This is what we try to do every year.
This year, new players like Kylian and Endrick are adapting very well.
We will have a great season playing in all competitions.
“Winning is complicated, but our job is to play every game like we always do at this club.
Never give up and play until the end.
That's what you have to do when you wear this shirt.
» Endrick also failed to score in Madrid, scoring the third in a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid, but he has been limited to just nine minutes of first-team action so far by Ancelotti, which shows the quality of time the 5-time Champions League-winning coach has.
