There was a lot of movement at Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners made David Raya's loan spell permanent for the first time following his successful spell in 2023/24.
Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino were then signed.
Finally, on deadline day, Arsenal signed Neto and Raheem Sterling on season-long loans.
In terms of departures, Emile Smith Rowe, Aaron Ramsdale and Eddie Nketiah were sold, while Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares and Fabio Vieira were all loaned out.
However, one player has not left despite being heavily linked with a move away from the club.
Jakub Kiwior says he made a 'mistake' by staying at Arsenal Jakub Kiwior is widely seen by Arsenal fans as a player who is certain to leave this summer.
The 'incredible' Pole was already no longer the top man in Mikel Arteta's hierarchy, and his role is now expected to be further diminished following Calafiori's arrival.
This is why he should have left but Arteta spoke to Kiwior and convinced him to stay at Arsenal beyond the transfer deadline (TBR Football).
Now, former Poland international Marek Kozminski has given his verdict on the Kiwior staying at Arsenal this summer.
The 53-year-old believes the Polish defender made a “big mistake” by not leaving the Emirates as his lack of playing time at the club is affecting his performances for his country.
He told Futbol.pl: “He probably made a big mistake, as he had the opportunity to leave England in the summer transfer window.
“Of course his club form will have a big impact on the form of the Polish national team.
