When Estevao rejoins the first team squad next year, Chelsea will reportedly use him as an attacking midfielder rather than a winger.

The teenage talent from Palmeiras will sign a contract with the Blues worth up to £51 million, and he will move to west London in the summer of 2025 after turning 18.

Estevao, who has gained notoriety as a right winger, is regarded as one of the world's greatest talents and is nicknamed "Messinho" because of his resemblance to Lionel Messi.

But according to Brazilian publication UOL, Estevao is viewed as a No. 10 by Chelsea, who have other plans for him.

The team thinks this will provide him greater creative freedom as soon as he gets to Stamford Bridge because he will be able to get on the  more frequently and drift out wide as he pleases.

Estevao has a lot of respect for Palmer, and at Palmeiras, he imitated his famous "cold" celebration.

Andre Cury, Estevao's agent, has revealed that Chelsea intends to start his client in the starting lineup.

Cole Palmer is the starting offensive midfielder for Chelsea right now. Since leaving Manchester City for the Blues last summer, Palmer has established himself as one of the team's most successful acquisitions, winning the PFA Young Player of the Year title and being nominated for the Ballon d'Or.

He can change to fit any kind of play. Estevao is viewed as a No. 10 player by Chelsea, which is significant. Playing in the middle, he can yet grow much more," he remarked.

Estevao faced future Chelsea teammate Kendry Paez in Friday night's 1-0 victory over Ecuador at home, marking his debut for Brazil.
