Cristiano Ronaldo has attacked Erik ten Hag's management style and stated that Manchester United must rebuild "everything" in order to win the Premier League again.
After United experienced their worst-ever Premier League performance in the 2023–24 season, falling to eighth in the standings, Ronaldo, who had two successful stints at the club, has exposed the problems within the organisation. He won three Premier League crowns, the Champions League, two League Cups, and an FA Cup during his first six years with the Red Devils.
His most recent endeavour, however, was less successful; after a falling out with Ten Hag, his contract was mutually terminated halfway through his second season.
However, the legendary United player feels he knows the secret to United's failure and has laid out a plan for the club's reconstruction to put them back among Europe's finest.
"I think Manchester United needs to rebuild everything," he said to his former teammate Rio Ferdinand on the most recent Rio Ferdinand Presents program. "The coach claims they are not capable of competing to win the Champions League and the league. You cannot claim, Manchester United coach, that you will not put up a fight to win the league or the Champions League.
