Manchester City against Premier League: Date Set, Hearing Details, and Possible Punishments The Premier League hearing into Manchester City's alleged breach of Premier League financial regulations will finally begin, but a final judgment is not likely to be announced until 2025.

Manchester City's hearing over 115 allegations of violating Premier League financial rules will begin on Monday. City, who won a record fourth consecutive title last season, has been accused of violating Premier League financial laws during a nine-year period beginning in 2009. If found guilty during the hearing, City might face relegation, points deductions, and financial penalties.

The Premier League accused City of failing to disclose proper financial information as well as appropriate facts on player and management salaries. The hearing will be held in private and might last up to two months, with a ruling due next year.

The Blues won the Premier League three times between the alleged breaches, in 2012, 2014, and 2018. In August, Premier League chief Richard Masters stated that it was "time to resolve" the case against City, adding, "It's been going on for a number of years and I think it's self-evident that the case needs to be heard and answered." City has categorically denied any wrongdoing and provided a forceful reply when the claims were originally leveled against them in February last year.

In a statement, City stated: "Manchester City is startled by the issue of these alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules, especially given the considerable involvement and large amount of information that the Premier League has been provided with.

The club appreciates an independent commission's review of this subject, which will consider the comprehensive body of indisputable evidence in support of its stance. As a result, we eagerly await the final resolution of this situation.

Sky has reduced the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV, and Netflix package to £216 in an incredible new deal that includes 1,400 live matches from the Premier League, EFL, and more. Football fans may enjoy the 2024/25 season in crystal clear picture quality thanks to Ultra HD, which is included at no additional cost.
