COMIC BOOK ARTIST KARL MOLINE PASSES AWAY AT 51

Many have heard about Karl Moline, the known American comic book artist who died at the age of 51 Many know Karl Moline as the illustrator of Fray, Route 666 and Loners. His death was reported on Tuesday, 12th September, 2024 which he died in September 2024. Moline, who did not enjoyed the best of health in the recent past, left an excellent mark in the comic book domain due to his unique talents in art and in storytelling.


Karl Moline was born in Reston Virginia in 1972 or 1973, this talented illustrator and comic book artist was involved in several significant comic book series. He first became fairly well-known for working on Fray, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off written by Joss Whedon. Moline teamed up with Whedon to create a visually impressive series, taking place in the future, where readers could meet Melaka Fray – a new slayer. With his dynamic artwork, he contributed greatly to promoting this extraordinary and raw story and thus got a set of loyal fans.


Moline did not only work on Green Wake, he also wrote other successful series, namely Route 666, which is a supernatural road trip story and Loners, a story revolving around a group of teenagers who were once superheroes. The aspect of detailed character designs coupled with good fluidity in action sequences were some things that made him prone to collaboration with publishers within the comic books industry.


Despite some health problems that Moline faced during her career, she could proved herself as a hardworking performer. In 2015, that he undertook a kidney and pancreas transplant that which seemed to have corrected his worsening health conditions. However, starting from the year 2019 he developed some severe health challenges that hindered his working capacity. Nevertheless, Moline never stopped loving his work which he still painted whenever his health conditions permits him to do so.

In addition to his accomplishments in the field of animation Moline was a kind and generous man, who enjoyed chats with fans and budding artists met at conventions or in such social nets as tweeter.


Moline moved to live near Tampa in Florida in his last years. His death brought an end to an amazing career in comic arts; however, the works that he left behind will be incredible to any artist in the future. He has been said to have special creativity and they will also remember him for his Daddy’s determination despite all the odds.
