United confirm Premier League squad list

The paperwork was required following the completion of the transfer window and in advance of the return to domestic action, with Erik ten Hag's men taking on Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday.

New senior signings Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Manuel Ugarte, Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee are all included but the list is divided into two sections - players aged over 21 and below that same age.

Recent teenage acquisition Sekou Kone is one of the young players registered and is alongside the likes of Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho in the second segment.

Tyrell Malacia is also on the list, despite missing the entirety of last season due to injury, after previously being named in the Europa League squad.
