According to Nana Oduro Sarf, a Ghana Football Association's (GFA) Executive Council member, Premier League teams do not profit monetarily from the league's television broadcasts.

Due to a breach of their contractual responsibilities, the GFA and its previous broadcaster, StarTimes, severed ways after the 2023–2024 season.

Ghana Premier League broadcasts are currently available on Metro TV, NET2 TV, AFA Sports, Original TV, and Globe TV.

Sarfo did, however, disclose that the money made from these broadcasts is not enough to sustain the clubs financially.

He mentioned that the GFA has called a conference to discuss methods to increase revenue, especially to help struggling teams.

"The Ghana Premier League's current TV broadcasts do not bring in any money for the league's clubs. "We have an EXCO meeting on Tuesday to discuss potential funding options for clubs," he said to Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.

On the other hand, sports fans and commentators are worried about the subpar television coverage since they feel it lessens the viewing attraction of the games.

Salisu, who completed the most passes of any player with 74 out of 87, was awarded the top performer on the field.

Along with winning seven out of nine ground duels and five out of five aerial duels, he also made the most successful tackles (five out of six).

The former Southampton defender is anticipated to be named in Ghana's Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan next month. He has made five appearances for Monaco in all competitions this season.
