The legendary Opoku Nti of Asante Kotoko has highlighted how crucial it is to win three straight games to rekindle support for the team among the supporters.

Even while Porcupine Warriors fans are extremely loyal, the previous CEO of the team thinks that to inspire them to attend games, they must witness noticeable progress on the field.

Kotoko has played two games in the Ghana Premier League this season; they drew with Young Apostles and won their first game against Karela United.
They will follow the team wherever you take the club. What they need is a string of wins to persuade them. After the draw with the Apostles, Nti praised the supporters of Asante Kotoko.

"Voters would have packed Obuasi Len Clay Stadium for the team's next home game if they had defeated Young Apostles."

"The fans don't want a storyteller telling them what happened during a great game. Supporters of Asante Kotoko are committed to the team.

With four points from two games, Asante Kotoko is currently sixth in the league rankings. This weekend, in match week four, they will play a vital encounter against Berekum Chelsea.

At Rodney Parade, Newport County defeated Crewe Alexandra 2-1 in a hotly contested League Two match.

English-born Ghanaian forward Cameron Antwi set up Cameron Evans for the game's first goal in the 22nd minute, giving the home team an early lead. Evans slotted the ball into the bottom corner thanks to Antwi's expertly timed pass, giving Newport County a 1-0 lead.

Crewe Alexandra mounted a comeback in the second half, drawing even in the 71st minute through a well-placed goal from Adrien Thibaut with help from Ryan Cooney. But three minutes later, Newport County struck back, as Matthew Baker scored the game-winning goal with help from Anthony Driscoll-Glennon to give the home team a three-point lead.

Newport County took use of their opportunities, even though Crewe Alexandra had a 55% possession rate. Antwi's contribution proved to be crucial. In their next game on October 1st, Newport will now focus on Salford City.

As of right now, Crewe Alexandra has three wins, Newport County has five wins, and there have been four ties in their head-to-head record.
