In the Ghana Premier League, Hearts of Oak's performance against Nations FC pleased striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie.
The Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex hosted the match, which finished in a thrilling goalless stalemate despite both teams' best attempts to discover the winning formula. Afriyie played in the scoreless draw against his previous employers.
Both teams tested their goalkeepers throughout the game, with four shots on goal and four significant saves on each side. Both teams had chances to break the stalemate, but they could not, so they had to split the points.
Since I used to play for the Nations, some spectators jeered me while others cheered me on, but that's all part of the sport. I think the outcome is fair since both sides performed well," he remarked.
