Kwame Opare Addo, director of communications for Hearts of Oak, thinks the team will be far better moving ahead than they have been lately.

Opare Addo stated to Asempa FM, "We need to improve in every area of our game and be much more competitive than we have been."
"From where we have been, everything we do on the field should get better. We need to up our game significantly from where we have been. That doesn't imply that we haven't engaged in competition.
"It won't come easily."
Hearts of Oak has dropped its first two games of the season, falling to Heart of Lions and Berekum Holy Stars 0–2 overall.
After that, they defeated Bechem United 2-0 until their most recent match ended in a goalless draw with Nations FC.

Dr. Abbey questioned criticism's impartiality even further, posing the following query: "Who is the first to be named when the Black Stars perform poorly? It's the president of GFA. When anything goes wrong, people tend to blame others. Why don't these people receive recognition for their achievements?"
He restated that it is only just to recognize people for their accomplishments if it is appropriate to hold them responsible for subpar work.
