The goal of Hearts of Oak skipper Benjamin Asare is to win this weekend's Ghana Premier League matchup against Aduana Stars.

On Sunday, in the fifth game of the Ghanaian top division, the Phobians will play host to Aduana Stars at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in a fiercely competitive affair.

The former Great Olympics goalie is eager to steal as many points as possible from the two-time league champions after sharing the victory against Nations FC.

"I will exhort the supporters to fill the stadium on Sunday to help us. We're coming home this weekend, and we promise them that we'll beat the Aduana Stars," he stated.

"In football, there are three outcomes: win, lose, or draw. However, we pledge to put in a lot of effort to improve the club."

Hearts of Oak had a bad start to the 2024–25 league season, losing their first two games to Heart of Lions and Basake Holy Stars in back-to-back fashion.

Following a thrilling goalless draw against Nations FC last Sunday, the club returned to winning ways in the Ghanaian top division with a 2-0 home victory over Bechem United.

After four games this season, the giants of Ghana have mustered one victory, one tie, and two losses. With four points, they presently hold the 14th position in the domestic premier division standings.

Mohammed Kudus' drop in form raises fears about dressing room instability at West Ham.

Although Mohammed Kudus has played in all six of the new English Premier League games, he has not yet established himself in his second season with West Ham United.

The Ghanaian midfielder has had difficulty reproducing the form that made him the talk of the town every week of the previous campaign under new manager Julen Lopetegui. With 14 goals and six assists in his debut season, Kudus became a London Olympic Stadium fan favorite.

But the attacking midfielder's performance this season was summed up by being substituted after the first half of the Premier League match against Brentford.

Kudus appeared to have a public falling out with the gaffer after his substitution, as he headed to the bench in exasperation.

The former Ajax midfielder is reportedly losing ground in Lopetegui's lineup as a result of the Spanish coach's suggestion that Kudus wasn't a team player, according to publications in England. Furthermore disclosed was the player's conversation with the management.
