Asamoah Boateng Afriyie, a forward for Hearts of Oak, has provided insight into the team's sluggish start to the Ghana Premier League season. He attributes the team's recent troubles to a developing sense of telepathy among players.
The Phobians have disappointed fans with just one victory in their first four games. Afriyie, who has played in all four games, is optimistic about the team's development despite this.
"I'm taking on a new role. It's not the goal drought that worries me. As a team, we are now coming together. After Hearts' goalless draw with his old team, Nations FC, on Sunday, Afriyie stated, "We are all passionate about the team's success, not personal glory."
Afriyie, who transferred from Nations FC to Hearts of Oak in the off-season, has not yet scored a goal. Still, he is more concerned with improving the team's success than with his own accomplishments.
When Hearts of Oak play Aduana Stars, a team aiming for their first victory after four rounds of competition, they will try to earn their second victory of the year.

The approval for Accra Sports Stadium is only valid for a single game. - Randy Abbey
Dr. Randy Abbey, a member of the Ghana Football Association's Executive Council, has disclosed that the Accra Sports Stadium will exclusively host Ghana's AFCON 2025 qualifying match against Sudan on October 11, 2024, as agreed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Following crowd disruptions during Ghana's loss to Angola in Kumasi, CAF canceled the stadium's license, forcing Ghana, which had been using Baba Yara Stadium for its home games, to relocate.
Therefore, to comply with CAF's regulations, quick improvements at the Accra Sports Stadium were required.
Although the Black Stars are happy to be playing in Accra, Dr. Abbey clarified that more needs to be done to improve the stadium. Before hosting any further matches there, CAF must be pleased with the enhancements.
Dr. Abbey said, "It was authorized to play the game on October 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium."
"They have said that there are certain things we must do, even in advance of the game, and that the approval is only valid for that particular game. Before we can play further games, CAF needs to be satisfied."
Dr. Abbey encouraged the Black Stars to concentrate on winning and expressed relief that the squad would be able to play their home game in Ghana despite the obstacles.
