Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), confidently declared that the party is poised to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections, projecting a winning margin of 50.9%. He acknowledged that the electoral contest will be challenging for the NPP, yet expressed optimism that Ghanaians are prepared to cast their votes in favor of the party. This confidence, he argued, stems from the various programs and policies the government has implemented to alleviate the difficulties faced by citizens.

Among the key initiatives cited by Owusu-Bempah is the free senior high school program, which he believes has significantly benefited vulnerable populations in Ghana. This initiative has provided numerous students with access to quality education without the burden of tuition fees, enabling many families to invest in their children's future without financial strain.

During his appearance on the "Yen Nseam Pa" show on Onua FM, Owusu-Bempah responded to recent poll projections from Global Info Analytics, which indicated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, is currently leading over the NPP’s candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. In light of these projections, he maintained that the electorate remains steadfast in their support for the NPP.

Owusu-Bempah emphasized the importance of the party's track record and its commitment to improving the living standards of Ghanaians. He posited that the government’s focus on social welfare programs, infrastructure development, and economic growth will resonate with voters as they head to the polls.

Additionally, he highlighted the significance of grassroots engagement and community outreach in building trust with the electorate. By effectively communicating the achievements of the NPP and addressing the concerns of the populace, he believes that the party can solidify its support base and ultimately secure a favorable outcome in the elections.

In conclusion, Owusu-Bempah’s assertions reflect a broader strategy by the NPP to reinforce its image as a party dedicated to the well-being of Ghanaians. With the election around the corner, he remains optimistic about the NPP’s prospects, confident that the electorate will recognize and reward the party's efforts to enhance education and tackle socio-economic challenges. The upcoming elections will not only test the resilience of the NPP but also the electorate's trust in the party's ability to govern effectively.
