Aboubakara Ouattara, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, has placed the blame for the goalless draw against Aduana FC on the mindset of his team.

The Ivorian trainer claimed that as soon as he saw certain player behavior that he didn't like, he knew the game was going to be challenging.

Match week five of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League ended in a goalless stalemate on Friday night at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Ouattara was not happy with his players' demeanor.

"Several things occurred before the commencement of the game. I wasn't happy about some of the attitudes I noticed in my players at the start of the game before we started the warm-up," he told the media.

"I informed them at halftime that I felt the contest would be tough for us today because of that."

Hearts of Oak has one of the worst records in the league when playing Aduana FC. The Phobians had fallen short of the Ogya boys in their previous five meetings before Friday's contest.

Hearts of Oak has drawn twice and lost two of their five games this season, leaving them with just one victory.

Hearts of Oak are sixth in the league standings with five points because other teams haven't yet completed their week five games.

On October 13, 2024, they will play away at Young Apostles.

Week 5 Match Preview: Bechem United vs. Bibiani GoldStars

On matchday five of the Ghana Premier League, Bibiani Goldstars will host Bechem United at Dun's Park in an attempt to continue their undefeated start to the campaign.

In a thrilling matchday two matchup against champions Samartex, the Miners lost their fourth game overall after winning two and drawing two.

On matchday four, Bechem United defeated Dreams FC at Nana Gyeabour Park to earn their first victory of the year. The Hunters began the season with consecutive draws before losing to Hearts of Oak in Legon.

Before the season began, both teams lost a few players, but they were replaced by younger players for the upcoming campaign.

There has been fierce competition between the two teams, and in their six Ghana Premier League meetings, Goldstars and Bechem have split the two wins and the two draws.

Veteran defender Vincent Atingah, who won the Premier League with Medeama SC, will be a valuable asset to Goldstar.

Before Sunday's match, Atingah stated, "Well, what I can say is that Bechem is a good club and very good team; we can't underrate them, but as time goes on, the season changes and players come and go, so I believe what's crucial for us is to remain focused and determined."
