MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE EXECUTIVES IN CAPE COAST SOUTH INVOKES CURSES ON IMPERSONATORS OVER DEFECTION CLAIM

Cape Coast, Ghana - Executives of the Movement for Change, a grassroots political organization, have performed traditional rituals to invoke curses on individuals impersonating them and spreading false defection claims.

The executives, led by Regional Coordinator, Mr. Kwame Mensah, gathered at the Cape Coast South constituency office to perform the ritual, seeking divine intervention to expose and punish those behind the malicious claims.

_False Defection Claims_

In recent weeks, social media platforms have been awash with claims that key executives of the Movement for Change in Cape Coast South had defected to rival political parties. The claims, however, have been vehemently denied by the organization.

"We will not sit idle while faceless individuals destroy our reputation," Mr. Mensah declared. "We have worked tirelessly to build this movement, and we will not let impostors undermine our efforts."

_Traditional Ritual_

The ritual, performed by a local traditional priest, involved the pouring of libation, burning of incense, and recitation of traditional prayers. The executives also symbolically burned effigies representing the impersonators.

"We invoke the ancestors and the gods to expose and punish those behind these malicious claims," the priest declared. "Let their evil plans be turned against them, and let truth prevail."

_Consequences of Impersonation_

The Movement for Change executives warned that impersonation has serious consequences, including:

1. Eroding public trust

2. Undermining the organization's credibility

3. Causing unnecessary tension and conflict

"We urge the public to be cautious of false information and verify claims through official channels," Mr. Mensah advised.

_Police Investigation_

The Movement for Change has formally reported the impersonation claims to the Cape Coast Police Command, requesting a thorough investigation.

"We will collaborate with the authorities to identify and prosecute those responsible," Mr. Mensah assured.

The invocation of curses has sent a strong message to impersonators, warning them to desist from their malicious activities.
