Philanthropist Transforms Ahountumam Basic School with Major Facelift
In a remarkable act of generosity, a local philanthropist has given Ahountumam Basic School a much-needed facelift, transforming the institution into a conducive learning environment for hundreds of students. The once-dilapidated school, located in the small community of Ahountumam, had been grappling with a lack of resources and crumbling infrastructure for years, but the donation has brought new hope to students and staff alike.
The philanthropist, Mr. Kwame Mensah, a successful businessman and native of the community, spearheaded the project after visiting the school and witnessing the dire conditions firsthand. Classrooms were overcrowded, roofs were leaking, and the furniture was in a state of disrepair. Many students were forced to sit on the floor due to a lack of desks, and teachers struggled to provide a quality education in such a challenging environment.

At a special commissioning ceremony held on Monday, Mr. Mensah officially handed over the newly renovated school to the Ahountumam community.
