According to a recent estimate, Jurgen Klopp will make eight figures in his first position since leaving Liverpool in the summer. Red Bull, an energy drink business, announced earlier this week that Klopp will take over as Head of Global Soccer on January 1, 2025. The 57-year-old will be in charge of Red Bull's global network of football teams, which consists of Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, and New York Red Bulls.

In addition to supporting the organization's global scouting operation and aiding in the training and development of coaches, Klopp started his coaching career with Mainz 05 in 2001. It's reasonable to say that the German is eager to begin a new phase of his life. He declared, "I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this after almost 25 years on the sidelines.

Additionally, Klopp is eager to encourage Red Bull's potential and help it grow and flourish."I view my primary responsibility as serving as a mentor to the coaches and management of the Red Bull clubs, but in the end, I am a member of a distinctive, forward-thinking organization," he continued. "Like I said, I'm really excited about this." Since the story broke, Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg has offered further information about Klopp's responsibilities and his staggering annual pay of roughly €10–12 million.

This is supposedly a long-term deal, although he has allegedly been told he can leave Red Bull if he receives a compelling offer from another company. Plettenberg also says that Klopp is "not an option" right now to return to coaching, but he would consider taking a job with the German national team if the opportunity arose. In an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, the former manager of Liverpool discussed his new position. "Some of you might have heard already, some of you haven't, from 1 January 2025 I will be head of Global Soccer of Red Bull," he stated. I'm eagerly anticipating that. I still believe that I no longer perceive myself as on the sidelines, as I stated a few months ago.
