_Mikel Arteta Reveals Raheem Sterling's Desire to Prove Himself at Arsenal_

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his delight at securing Raheem Sterling on a season-long loan from Chelsea. Arteta revealed that it took just 10 seconds of conversation with Sterling to realize he was the right player for the Gunners.

Sterling, 29, had been frozen out at Chelsea despite playing a prominent role in Enzo Maresca's pre-season plans. Arteta, formerly an assistant manager to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, knows Sterling's capabilities well.

*Arteta's First Impression*

"In the first call I had with him, I knew in the first ten seconds we have to bring him because he really wanted it," Arteta said. "That was my only question mark: 'what stage is he at in his career?' [But] after 10 seconds, I knew already before the next questions that we needed him here."

*Sterling's Hunger to Prove Himself*

Arteta praised Sterling's hunger and energy, stating, "He wants to prove a point... He's a player that wants to play every minute of every game. When that's not the case, he's not happy."

Sterling joins a strong Arsenal forward line, including Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Leandro Trossard. Arteta believes Sterling's Premier League title-winning experience will boost the team.

*Injury Update*

Sterling may make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, but Arsenal will be without Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori, and Declan Rice due to injuries and suspension.

*Arteta's Verdict*

"What I see is hunger... His commitment and the level of energy that he's bringing to the team is a big boost. You can feel it walking through the door. We are better with him. He's going to make us better."

With Sterling on board, Arsenal's title aspirations have received a significant boost. Will the England winger help the Gunners challenge for the Premier League crown?
