Her message, directed at Mensa' s family and friends, urged them to caution the EC boss against allegedly manipulating electoral results in favor of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the video, the woman strongly emphasizes the divine will of God, claiming that no human has the power to alter what God has ordained. " What God has said, no person can change it. God allowed President Akufo- Addo and the NPP to lead so that Ghanaians would understand the true nature of their governance and appreciate what John Mahama did during his tenure. Now, it is time for Mahama to reclaim his rightful position at the Jubilee House. Anyone who attempts to alter God' s plan will face severe consequences, " she warned.
The elderly woman' s impassioned words resonated with some Ghanaians who have expressed similar concerns regarding the transparency of the upcoming elections. According to critics, there are increasing suspicions about Jean Mensa' s impartiality as the head of the Electoral Commission. They claim that she has exhibited behaviors that indicate a bias toward the NPP. Allegations have been made that she has been seen at the NPP headquarters late at night and has not adequately addressed issues related to the voters' register, which has raised concerns over possible errors and omissions.
