Prosper Ogum, the coach of Asante Kotoko, disclosed that his squad used control strategies to control their match against DC United in the Capital City Africa Cup.

Five Kotoko players were included in the Ghana Week DC Select Side, which was organized to compete despite visa restrictions preventing the whole Kotoko team from visiting the US.

In a fiercely contested game, the select team shocked many by upsetting DC United 2-1. Ogum reflected on the match and described the tactical changes his team made.

After the game, he remarked, "It was highly competitive; it was a game of two contrasting types. The athletic side wanted to play the ball behind the defense and as well as try to make space behind the defense."

He went on to say, "We also try to see the game out since we recognize the athleticism was too much to their benefit thus we also sought to control and manage the game as they were attempting to speed up."

Otto Addo gives Inaki Williams the starting position against Sudan, dropping Jordan Ayew.

Ghana will start Inaki Williams in their pivotal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match against Sudan on Tuesday.

In one major lineup move, coach Otto Addo moved Athletic Bilbao forward into the attack in place of Jordan Ayew.

The goal of Williams' inclusion is to improve the Black Stars' performance as they look to snap a dismal three-game losing streak.

Goalie Lawrence Ati-Zigi is in the starting lineup, while Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Gideon Mensah, and Alidu Seidu make up the backline.

Sulemana Ibrahim and Elisha Owusu will play together in the middle, with Antoine Semenyo and Ernest Nuamah occupying the flanks.

Williams will be the only striker, and Mohammed Kudus will play as the attacking midfielder.

The game will begin at the Martyrs Stadium in Benina, Libya, at 1:00 PM Ghana time.

With only two points, Ghana is now in third place in Group F, so this game is crucial to their AFCON qualifying campaign.

The Black Stars need to win to get back on track and raise their group standings.
