British fighter Ben Whittaker sustained an ankle sprain and will undergo further evaluations for an aggravated neck injury following a bizarre end to his light-heavyweight bout in Riyadh on Saturday, where he and Liam Cameron both fell out of the ring.


In a dramatic turn of events, the fight ended in a technical split draw after both boxers toppled over the ropes. Whittaker was seen leaving the arena in a wheelchair and was taken to the hospital for scans on his injured leg. He also suffered an ankle sprain and will begin rehabilitation once cleared by doctors. He is determined to return to the ring as soon as possible."
