Ex-Love Island babe Olivia Bowen has opened up about her recent hospital stint.
The reality TV sweetheart, 30, who shot to fame on the hit ITV show, shared a snap from her hospital bed, giving fans the lowdown on her health scare. Despite keeping schtum on the deets, she reassured everyone that she was OK.
Olivia, looking fab even in a hospital gown and cosy blanket, threw up a peace sign for the gram, hinting she'll be laying low on social media while she recovers from her non-cosmetic op.
In true influencer style, she spilled the tea to her whopping three million followers: "I may be a wee quiet on my socials over the next week or so. I had minor surgery (not cosmetic)."
Olivia updated her fans
She added: "I'm absolutely fine so please don't worry about me. I know what you guys are like you're so kind. It's no drama but I'm just not ready to talk about it. xxxx", reports the Mirror.
Bored out of her mind in the ward, Olivia then shared another pic, this time looking pensive with hand-on-face action. She captioned it with a confession of her online shopping spree: "I can't deal with sitting here I'm so bored already," followed by a cheeky laugh.
"I've just made three clothes orders on Zara Anthropologie and Asos. Ffs." The star sent the emojis flying as she quipped about her 'retail therapy' sesh.
Olivia was left hospitalised
Remembered for her stint on Love Island's second series, Olivia found love with hubby Alex on the show. The pair recently entered the world of parenthood with their son Abel, born in June 2022.
Speaking to OK! about motherhood, she previously shared: "When you've had a child, you don't know if it's going to make it [anxiety] better or worse. At first, it made it better, then it made it worse. It's a bit of a whirlwind. Has it made me think seriously about having another child? I mean, I think I would struggle again."
In an August chat with the Mirror, she opened up about her son Abel's birth, which involved a gruelling 30-hour labour and forceps delivery. She admitted it wasn't the birth she had envisioned.
Olivia hasn't revealed why she's been in hospital
At the UK launch of Cocoa Brown By Marissa Carter, she revealed: "I had a bit of a traumatic birth with Abel, which I think so many women have experienced and I just put a lot of pressure on myself to just do it 'correctly', whatever that means. I always thought, 'Oh, I'll give birth this way naturally without any drugs.' And I ended up having an epidural and it just wasn't the nicest experience."
She also disclosed: "I had an episiotomy as well, which means they cut you and it just wasn't a nice experience to have. It was very long, and I'm worried to go through that again and feel the disappointment that I felt in myself in the first place. So me and Alex, talk about it sometimes and it would never put me off because I'd love to have another child one day but I think it is something that will be in the back of my mind. You can have an elective C-section which might be something that I choose to do if it saves me the anxiety."
