The Minister of Energy, Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, has expressed strong confidence that the New Patriotic Party will retain power in the upcoming general elections. At a recent rally in Kumasi, the Minister and one of the frontrunners in the party explained the achievements chalked up by the government, which has been willing to make lives better for Ghanaians.

Ghanaians are aware of the progress that we have made since assuming office," NAPO said. He, therefore, brought into focus some major developments his party, the NPP, had embarked on, including infrastructural development, education, and healthcare. "Our government has been working to ensure that all Ghanaians feel the benefits of our policies. We have set a better foundation for economic growth and social development, something quite indeniable," he added.

NAPO makes these comments as the NPP prepares for what many are expecting to be a keenly contested election. He encouraged party supporters to be steadfast and rally behind the NPP's vision for Ghana's future. "We are not just campaigning for votes; we are advocating for the continued prosperity of our nation," he said.

He then addressed the challenges being faced by the government-including how global economic conditions have been hitting the local markets hard-and assured Ghanaians of the NPP's commitment to finding creative ways around these challenges and ensuring the economy remained resilient. "Together, we will ride through the hard times and come out even stronger," he declared.

NAPO has been touring the various constituencies, meeting with the grass roots and community leaders, as part of the campaign effort. His message is rather simple: the track record will speak for itself, and the Ghanaian people will recognize the NPP for their commitment to national development.

As the election date draws closer, the optimism of NAPO is also bellowed in the minds of so many of the party faithful, who are waiting to see the NPP continue with governance. He called on all Ghanaians while he concluded his address, to vote wisely, as their collective decision at the polls would determine the future of the nation.
