The National Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a public advisory regarding the production of campaign adverts ahead of the upcoming December 7 elections. In a statement signed by the party' s National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi Esq. , the NDC made it clear that all persons wanting to advertise for NDC' s Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama must stop immediately.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
" It has come to the attention of the National Communications Bureau of the NDC, that out of enthusiasm to see the party win the upcoming December 7 polls, some party sympathizers are producing their own adverts and creative works to market the party' s policies.
In order to ensure message harmony and effective communication, we are by this circular advising anyone desirous of producing an advert to promote the policies of the NDC to contact the National Communications Bureau of the party for the necessary clearance and guidance. "
While the enthusiasm and dedication of these supporters are appreciated, the party is urging all those interested in producing campaign- related materials to seek clearance from the National Communications Bureau before doing so. According to the advisory, this step is essential to ensuring that all campaign messages remain consistent, accurate, and aligned with the party' s official communications strategy.
