Verydarkman (VDM) is experiencing intense frustration as he confronts the threat to his hard- earned reputation. This comes in the wake of a sudden and enormous donation to his NGO, which raises serious concerns about its legitimacy and the motivations behind it. The unexpected deposit of N100 million, which brought the total funds raised to over N170 million, has plunged him into a state of confusion and anxiety.

In a heartfelt video, VDM expressed his worries about the implications of this donation. The sheer size and the anonymity of the source have heightened his suspicions, leaving him on edge. Initially, this substantial contribution should have been a cause for celebration, supporting his efforts to enhance public education for Nigerian primary school pupils. However, instead of joy, it has sparked a wave of fear that he could be ensnared in a scheme to discredit him.
Previously, VDM had successfully raised approximately N70 million through the goodwill of Nigerians who believed in his vision to make education engaging and accessible. Now, however, he finds himself grappling with a distressing reality. In his Instagram video, he detailed his alarm over the N100 million donation, which appeared without any explanation from the sender. This has led him to worry that it could be part of a malevolent plot to frame him for financial misconduct.
Desperately seeking clarity, he reached out to his bank, urging them to investigate the origins of the funds, but the uncertainty surrounding the situation persists. In his video, he stated, " Please Nigerians, come and help me. Someone sent me N100 million into my NGO account. Hope someone is not trying to set me up. " His plea reflects not only his shock but also his concern for his integrity.
Additionally, VDM is facing a legal challenge from Folakemi Falana, the daughter of prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana. She announced plans to sue him for defamation following a controversial audio recording where social media figure Bobrisky claimed that Falz, the son of Falana, was involved in dismissing money laundering charges brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. In response, VDM questioned why the Falana family chose to target him rather than collaborate to combat corruption.
He stated that he remains unfazed and is prepared to confront any legal repercussions that may arise from the situation, including the defamation lawsuit. His determination to stand firm reflects his commitment to his cause and his unwillingness to back down in the face of adversity. This incident has put him at a crossroads, balancing his advocacy work with the pressing need to protect his reputation amidst a web of suspicion and potential legal battles.
