Vincent Odotei Sowah, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has praised Togbe Afede XIV, the club's principal stakeholder, calling him a gift from God.
Since taking over as the club's principal stakeholder in 2011, Togbe has made large investments, such as building the Pobiman Complex, which the team currently uses for practices and games.
One indication of Togbe's commitment to the advancement of Ghanaian football is his efforts to upgrade the facilities at Pobiman.
"Having someone who is making sacrifices for the club is truly a blessing and a privilege. Not just the content, but his leadership, intelligence, and everything else he possesses to ensure that this outstanding club continues to grow into a highly competitive and esteemed organization," he stated.
He continued, "I can guarantee you that Togbe Afede XIV, our board chairman, is a gift from God to our club."
After six games in the top division, the former Premier League champions have managed two victories, two losses, and two draws.
Hearts of Oak currently own eight points, good for ninth place in the Ghana Premier League standings. In the local top-flight, the Ghanaian powerhouses will host the struggling Dreams FC on matchday seven this weekend.
