In a colorful meeting with party members, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana and the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, urged his supporters to do more work ahead of the important December elections. Bawumia made the call recently in Accra during a rally where he reiterated unity and hard work to secure an emphatic victory.

He was optimistic that the NPP would retain power, enumerating the party's achievements over the past eight years, which included infrastructure development, stabilizing the economy, and social intervention programs. He called on the rank and file of the party to rally together, reminding them that "the success of the NPP is very closely linked to your hard work and commitment at the base.". "We all have to roll up our sleeves and get to work. Every door knocked, every conversation had, and every voter engaged counts towards our victory," he said.

Addressing concerns about the current economic difficulties of the country, Bawumia assured supporters that the NPP has a solid plan to sail the country through such difficulties. He highlighted initiatives meant to resuscitate the economy by creating more jobs and improving social services. "We are not just asking for your vote; we are asking for your trust. We can, together, build a prosperous future for all Ghanaians," he said.

Bawumia also seized the opportunity to lash at the opposition, saying the NDC does not have the solutions the prevailing circumstances of the country require. He called on Ghanaians to remember the NDC's governance in times past and to choose wisely in December.

The rally ended with the appeal to party members to go into the communities, register people, and mobilize for the NPP. As December draws near, the passionate appeal by Bawumia echoes across the rank and file of the party, binding all into one resolve-to win with a convincing margin of victory that would determine the future of Ghana. This rallying cry of the Vice President for unity and hard work underlines the NPP's commitment to running a progress-and-stability-centered campaign.
