A Ghanaian woman has expressed her anger and frustration towards Prophet Salifu Amoako, a well-known pastor, over comments he made regarding her son's accident. The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, took to social media to voice her grievances, accusing the pastor of making offensive remarks about her family’s situation.

The issue arose when Prophet Salifu Amoako reportedly linked the boy's accident to spiritual causes, suggesting that it was a result of some spiritual battle or curse. According to the aggrieved mother, Amoako’s comments were both insensitive and disrespectful, adding to the pain her family was already enduring. She said that rather than offering comfort or support during their difficult time, the pastor's remarks were an insult to them, dismissing the real trauma they were facing.

In a video circulating online, the woman is visibly distressed, expressing how deeply hurt she is by the pastor’s statements. She criticized Salifu Amoako for exploiting their situation for publicity and called on him to be more mindful of the words he uses, especially when families are going through tough times. She explained that her son’s accident was purely an unfortunate event, and there was no need for it to be sensationalized with claims of spiritual interference.

The woman’s strong reaction has sparked a broader conversation on social media about the role of religious leaders and the impact their words can have on individuals dealing with personal tragedy. Many people have rallied behind the woman, condemning Prophet Salifu Amoako’s remarks as inappropriate and lacking compassion. They argued that pastors and spiritual leaders should focus on offering comfort and practical solutions rather than attributing every misfortune to spiritual causes.

Others, however, defended the pastor, claiming that his statements were misinterpreted and that he was simply offering spiritual guidance, which is his duty as a religious leader. Despite these divided opinions, the situation has drawn significant attention in Ghana, with many questioning the fine line between spiritual advice and insensitivity.

As the debate continues, the woman remains firm in her stance, calling for an apology from Prophet Salifu Amoako and urging other religious leaders to be more considerate when dealing with grieving families.
