Ghanaian Players Abroad: Kudus Sees Red, Inaki & 3 Black Stars Players Score

It was a mixed weekend for Ghanaian footballers abroad as several Black Stars players made headlines with notable performances. Some players found the back of the net, while one experienced a frustrating turn of events.

One of the weekend's most shocking moments involved Mohammed Kudus, the dynamic Ghanaian midfielder playing for West Ham United in the Premier League. Kudus was sent off after receiving a red card in a tightly contested match. The incident came late in the game, as the referee showed him a second yellow card for a foul, leaving West Ham to finish the game with 10 men. Despite Kudus' impressive form leading up to this match, his dismissal was a blow for both him and his team, as they fought to salvage points.

Elsewhere in Spain, Iñaki Williams continued his fine form for Athletic Bilbao. The forward, who switched his international allegiance to Ghana in 2022, was on target as he scored a crucial goal in his side's La Liga match. His clinical finish helped Bilbao secure a vital win, showing once again why he is one of the most reliable players for his club.

In addition to Iñaki's goal, three more Black Stars players also found the net over the weekend. In the French Ligue 1, Kamaldeen Sulemana scored for Stade Rennais in a thrilling encounter. His pace and dribbling skills were on full display, creating headaches for the opposition defense and capping his performance with a goal.

In Italy, Joseph Paintsil continued his remarkable form for Genk, finding the back of the net yet again in the Belgian Pro League. His consistent performances have been a bright spot for both his club and the Black Stars, as he continues to stake a claim for a regular starting spot in the national team.

Another Black Stars player who registered a goal was Antoine Semenyo, playing for AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. Semenyo's strike came in a high-tempo match, providing his team with a crucial goal and boosting his confidence as he looks to cement his place in the team.

Overall, it was a weekend of highs and lows for Ghanaian players abroad, with four Black Stars players finding the net, while Mohammed Kudus faced disappointment with his red card.
