The Premier League title race is heating up, and according to two supercomputers, Arsenal's chances of lifting the trophy are dwindling. Despite a strong start, Mikel Arteta's side has stuttered in recent weeks, suffering their first defeat of the campaign against Bournemouth.

Data from Opta suggests Arsenal has only an 11.3% chance of winning the league, down from 20% before their loss. Meanwhile, a prediction from CSDB has the Gunners finishing third, behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

Manchester City is favored to claim a fifth consecutive title, with a 75.5% chance of winning, according to Opta. CSDB concurs, predicting City will finish second, just a point behind Liverpool.

The predicted table sees Tottenham, Newcastle, and Brighton rounding out the top six, while Aston Villa misses out on European competition entirely. Manchester United is set for a disappointing tenth-place finish.

At the other end of the table, Championship winners Ipswich are predicted to stay up, thanks to their thrilling 3-2 comeback victory against Southampton.

The supercomputer's prediction has Liverpool finishing first with 92 points, followed closely by Manchester City with 91. Arsenal takes third with 88 points.

Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Brighton secure the remaining top-seven spots, while Aston Villa and Brentford battle for eighth.

The relegation zone sees Wolves, Ipswich, and Southampton struggling to stay up.

While these predictions are intriguing, the Premier League is known for its unpredictability. The season is far from over, and teams can still turn their fortunes around.

Arsenal will need to regroup and refocus to challenge for the title. Arteta must rally his troops to overcome their recent slump and make a push for the top.

Manchester City and Liverpool will likely continue to set the pace, but Tottenham, Newcastle, and Brighton can't be counted out.

As the season unfolds, these predictions will be put to the test. Will Arsenal bounce back, or will City and Liverpool dominate? Only time will tell.
