The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that a man who invaded the pitch during Ghana’s World Cup qualifying match against Chad has been sentenced to 100 days in prison. The incident occurred on Matchday 5 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers when Mohammed Huzeinu interrupted the game by running onto the field.
