*Binduri, Ghana* — A vibrant ceremony marked the graduation and startup launch of 250 newly trained artisans in Binduri, a significant step in promoting economic growth and self-sufficiency within the community. On October 24, 2024, Hon. Abdulai Abanga, Member of Parliament (MP) and Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (LGDRD), collaborated with the Ghana Enterprise Authority to provide essential startup kits to the artisans. The event took place at the District Assembly forecourt, gathering local leaders, community members, and officials to celebrate this achievement.
Hon. Ayinga Yakubu, District Chief Executive (DCE) of Binduri, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the indispensable role artisans play in the local economy.
