This is arguably the biggest political endorsement as the Nkwanta South constituency has openly declared its support for the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's quest to digitize Ghana. The announcement was made at a recent community gathering where local leaders and constituents sang the praises of Bawumia as he works to transform the nation through technology and innovation.

It brought together traditional leaders, youth groups, and local entrepreneurs anxious to express their aspirations towards the government's digital agenda. They mentioned a few key reasons digitization should work: access to governmental services will be easier, economy will improve, and there will be more transparency.

Addressing the gathering, the MP for Nkwanta South, Hon. John Kudalor, emphasized the need to embrace technology in today's world. "Dr. Bawumia's vision is not just a plan; it is a pathway to modernization. Digital Ghana will empower our communities with tools to prosper in a competitive global economy," he said.

His supporters cited a number of successful initiatives by Bawumia, such as the Mobile Money Interoperability system and the Ghana Card, among others, that have made access to services efficient and financial resources easy for many. The local entrepreneurs shared success stories of how these initiatives have helped them expand their businesses and reach larger markets.

The endorsement from Nkwanta South was termed a strategic move ahead of the general elections since Nkwanta South believes it has finally emerged to become a stronghold for the ruling party. In that regard, the community leaders demanded sustained investment in digital infrastructure in order to ensure that all Ghanaians are able to benefit from technological advancement.

As the Digital Revolution gets into shape, the Nkwanta South constituency declares their support for the vision of Dr. Bawumia en bloc, fostering innovation and inclusiveness in the community, and looking forward to a future where technology would serve as a catalyst for growth and development. It is hoped that this endorsement will further stimulate discussions on how digital policies by Bawumia can be effectively implemented in practice to ensure that no one is left behind in the march toward a Digital Ghana.
