Rev. Owusu-Bempah Predicts NDC Victory in 2024 Election, Reaffirms Divine Support
In a powerful declaration to his congregation on October 27, 2024, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, reaffirmed his prophecy that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by former President John Dramani Mahama, would emerge victorious in Ghana's 2024 elections. Owusu-Bempah emphasized that his prophecy is divinely inspired and unchangeable, dismissing skeptics who doubt its authenticity.
During his address, Owusu-Bempah expressed confidence in Mahama's success, positioning it as a manifestation of divine will rather than political strategy alone. He underscored the significance of spiritual insight, suggesting that those who dismiss his predictions underestimate the impact of spiritual forces in Ghana's political landscape. “If you want to challenge someone in a significant way, there are things you must understand and actions you must take,” he stated. This remark seemed to challenge the perspective of those who view political outcomes as purely secular.
Addressing critics who argue that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would have won previous elections regardless of his prophecies, Owusu-Bempah recounted past electoral outcomes. He questioned why the NPP did not secure victory in 2008 or 2012, years when he did not provide a prophecy, and pointed to 2016, a year he claims was influenced by his prophetic intervention. “At some point, you need divinity to excel,” he remarked, affirming his belief that divine support has historically impacted political success.
Owusu-Bempah went on to stress that his prophecy for 2024 is “sealed” and beyond human alteration. He stated, “I have prophesied, and nothing can cancel this. We are all in this country called Ghana; we are all going to see who is powerful and has been blessed by God.” He noted that this assertion is not made out of personal pride but rather as a testament to his faith and belief in divine guidance. By asserting that the prophecy cannot be nullified, Owusu-Bempah conveyed an unshakeable belief in a higher power’s role in Ghana’s future leadership.
Additionally, he rejected accusations that his revelations stem from personal ambitions or false sources, reaffirming his words as authentic divine revelations. For Owusu-Bempah, the upcoming election is more than a political contest; it is an opportunity for Ghana to witness what he believes is God’s chosen leadership for the nation. His conviction suggests that the 2024 election will not only be pivotal politically but also deeply symbolic, illustrating the perceived power of faith and prophecy in Ghanaian society.
By asserting his stance, Owusu-Bempah has reignited discussions on the role of spirituality in politics and the extent to which divine prophecy influences the country’s governance. His statements invite Ghanaians to contemplate the intersection of faith, leadership, and the future of their nation.
