This afternoon,, Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Supporters based in Accra visited the team at the training grounds to donate water and some drinks also an undisclosed amount to the team as a way of encouraging the team to keep up the good performance so far in the league

Coach Ogum and the playing body were so grateful for the love shown them..However, Captain Frederick Asare spoke in behalf of the team and promised to deliver a good results in  game to make the supporters happy..

Have seen how people wanna cook Frederick Asare for the equalizer but i think he is ABSOLUTELY immune to any singular form of blame in this case.

Reason being that, Fred came out of his line when the corner was kicked and he had his hand unto the ball. His primary aim of coming out of the post was achieved because he was able to punch the ball farther from the crowded danger zone.

The rest of the job were supposed to have been done by our men in the defense but they failed in that test to the point that one defender even slipped off in his rescue effort leading to the goal eventually.

Therefore, to blame Asare for this goal would be extremely non-objective and inequitable.

Prince Tweneboah's goal for Basake came as a result of a collective incompetence by our defenders after the goalkeeper had tried his best to reduce the risk by punching the ball away.

However, we allowed the Basake attackers to bring the ball back to the crowded final third immediately and i'm wondering how any goalkeeper was gonna be able to save the ball that was seemingly swimming in a forest of legs.

We have an outstanding game vs Legon Cities on Wednesday that a win could ascend us to the top of the league table so let's take this result in good faith and focus on the next encounter on wednesday.
