Samklef expressed his thoughts on X in response to a comment regarding the disrespect directed at musician Davido. The original post lamented that Davido, despite his efforts to help others, was facing significant criticism. In his reply, Samklef questioned why Davido received more scrutiny compared to artists like Olamide, whom he claimed had a more positive influence on others. He asserted that Olamide had helped many people and posed the rhetorical question of why Olamide wasn' t being disrespected in the same way. 
 
Samklef suggested that Davido' s situation stemmed from his desire to be seen positively by everyone, implying that this led him to assist others with certain expectations and control in mind. He conveyed his admiration for Davido but urged him to stop portraying himself as a victim in this narrative.

In a separate message, Samklef encouraged a fellow content creator, Korty, to go ahead and release the interview with Davido, despite the singer' s refusal. He passionately defended her decision, saying, " If I were Korty, I would release the podcast. Did they force Davido to do the interview? Don' t let them bully you. I will fight for you. What' s her handle? " This comment highlighted his willingness to support her against what he perceived as unfair pressure. 
The context of these remarks came after Korty announced her intention to release an interview with Davido but later stated she couldn' t do so because his team denied her permission. She expressed her frustration about re- editing the content only for it to be blocked again by Davido' s team. This situation quickly gained traction on social media, making it a trending topic as many users reacted to her predicament. 
However, Korty faced criticism from some of Davido' s fans, particularly after she remarked, " I' ve filmed many artists who eventually tell me not to post the video. If you don' t want people to see you for who you are, please don' t come on my show. Stop wasting my time. " Her candidness about the challenges of working with celebrities drew mixed responses, highlighting the complexities of navigating public expectations and personal integrity in the entertainment industry. 
Samklef' s comments and Korty' s frustrations illustrate the intricate dynamics within celebrity culture, where the pressure to maintain a certain public image can clash with the desire for authenticity and openness in interviews. This situation not only showcases the potential pitfalls for artists but also reflects the broader conversation about accountability and respect in the industry.
