Former porcupine attacker Kwame Poku is back at Asante Kotoko and will be assessed by the coaches of Kumasi Asante Kotoko before any contract talks begins with the player and his management, as reported Kwame has been in the garden city for some few days now, waiting for the green light to start with his trial to get  back to the club where he left some few years ago.

He is said to begin on Wednesday, as this would give the technical team all full view of his progress both physical and technical abilities.

The big truth is that many fabulous die hard fans can not wait t have him start playing for the club again

And this is something small from a high flying team.

Three more undiluted points, and a second clean sheet of the season and the unbeaten run extends our very long unbeaten run.

We continued our impressive start with a dominant  win over Longford, extending our unbeaten start to the season.

A quick brace from youngster Aziz and a beautiful overhead kick by inform player ensured we go top of our zone.

Benab set the tone early with relentless pressure on the Longford goal. In the 11th minute, our efforts paid off when Danger, pressing high up the pitch, dispossessed a Longford midfielder before finding Aziz who calmly slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper to give us the early lead.

Just three minutes later, we doubled our lead with a well-crafted team goal. Danger won the ball back on the halfway line and played a delightful clipped pass down the line to Aziz. Aziz drove into the box before finishing home our second.

It could have been three for the youngster in the half hour mark but Aziz after going round the goalkeeper saw his effort hits the goalpost.

The second half began with us maintaining our control. As the most consistent team in the league.

However, Longford showed some fight as their forward who had been a handful all afternoon in behind our defense down the right but a good save from Dickson kept our two goal lead.

Longford had one last chance to grab a consolation goal, flashing a dangerous ball across the six-yard box with two players lining up at the back post. Somehow, the ball evaded both, and the opportunity was lost.

Our skipper, Gilbert nearly made it 4-0 late in the game but saw his effort cleared over the line.
