Asante Kotoko top scorer has finally been nominated for the best player for the month of October. Albert Amoah who started the season very well after scoring the winning goal for Asante Kotoko against Karela on match day one, continued in the month of November.

I'm this month the hit man played all five matches for the club and also covered a massive four hundred and twenty four minutes with four decisive goals  for the club, He is very well positioned to as all his contenders have one man of the match awards each as he even has more goals and game time more than them.

But it is also quite unfortunate that at the moment he has picked up an injury. This came in the last game the team played, reports say that he may stay away for about three weeks with may even go more, pending report from the medical team.

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association is well-represented in the 2024/25 Women's FA Cup, with 13 clubs competing in the prestigious tournament. Seven Premier League clubs and six Division One clubs will vie for qualification to the next stage.

Unfortunately, the GARFA clubs will have to play among themselves, with the winners qualifying to the next stage.

The Women League clubs are excited with the partnership of SOCCABET and Ashlid Sports to GARFA, and really looking forward to a great season to also attract such recognitions and support to enhance their finances and professionalism.

As a pacesetter in grassroots football development, we have consistently promoted gender equality. Women's League Committee Chairperson, Lawyer Cleopatra Nsiah Nketiah, acknowledged the challenges faced, including finance, scouting, and infrastructure.

"Despite these hurdles, we remain dedicated and committed to providing equal opportunities for our members," she said, praising her Vice, Alhaji Oliver, for his tireless efforts.

As the competition kicks off this weekend, Alhaji Oliver wished all participating GARFA clubs the best of luck.

GARFA's commitment to women's football development is unwavering, and this season's FA Cup promises exciting matchups.
