FC Barcelona has overcome the might of Rwd Star Belgrade at their own arena after a commanding 5-2 win, this win has taken them into the automatic qualification zone.
Barca began the game on a very bright note after Inigo Martinez connected from a wonderful free kick from Raphinha to give them the lead as early as the 13th minute. With the same tempo Barca mistakenly conceded the equaliser to the Serbian side in the 27th minute as Silas placed his name on the score sheet.
Very soon after that the blue and reds continued with their dominance but where just lacking the finishing touch. After many many tries, Barca's number 9, Robert Lewandosksi showed up and scored before the half time break after he met a pass from Jules Koude in the 18 yard box to make it two for them.
So this meant the Catalonians went into the dressing room with a lead, but it was not the clear picture of the half.
Right after recess Barca made it a point to get another goal to stamp their authority on the game as their third goal arrived in the 53rd minute by striker Robert Lewandosksi who got himself a brace away from home and also took his goal tally to five in the current season of the UEFA Champions League.
And not long after that Kounde once again created space for Raphinha to also score his fifth goal of the season as he made it four for Barcelona.
The tie was done and coach Hansi Flick brought in some fresh limbs to come in and have a feel of the game, in came Gavi, Dani Olmo, Dominguez who replaced the injured Cubarsi and also Fermin Lopez who scored the fifth goal for the team on the 76th minute.
Red star got a consolation goal in the 86th minute to reduce the score line for his club.
The game ended in high praise for Barca as they've moved to 6th position on the league log.
And also Brazilian Raphinha leads the top scorers chat with five goals and three assists to his name.
